We have a new team member to introduce! Meet Daniel Superina, our new “Super” Scrum Master/Senior Project Manager. Daniel was born and raised in Melbourne, and has worked in several roles across financial services, management and technology consulting. With a passion for organisational Agility and challenging the status quo, we’re confident that Daniel will bring fresh ideas and strong leadership to his role at ProQuest. In addition, Daniel is a self proclaimed “tragic Italophile” (his parents were born in Italy!) and loves eating, coffee, and riding a vintage Lambretta motor scooter. We think he’ll fit in just fine. 😉

What do you like to do for fun when you’re not working?
Hanging out with my wife and two little guys. When I have time, tinkering with my 60s Lambretta motor scooter and going for rides with friends.
What would you sing at karaoke night?
Oh, a tough one! Depends how diverse their library is. ‘Electric Relaxation’ by A Tribe Called Quest or something by LCD Soundsystem. More likely: Foo Fighters!
Tell us something we don’t know about you?
I consider myself somewhat of a handyman, and would hate to think what I’ve spent at Bunnings over the years…
What is the one website (or app) you can’t live without?
It’s boring, but I wouldn’t survive without the native iOS Calendar app! For fun, Spotify is crucial.
What is your favourite place to go in Sydney?
I’ve always really liked walking/running around Iron Cove Bay in Sydney’s Inner West (the ‘Bay Run’).
What is your favourite restaurant or go-to food in Sydney?
La Disfida in Haberfield has been my go-to Italian joint for many years. For something a bit more posh, LuMi is extraordinary. Always in pursuit of the ‘best’ Bahn Mi and Pho, too!
What attracted you to ProQuest?
I had heard good things about ProQuest from a colleague, and felt very much aligned with the company’s focus on Agile values and principles.
What is your favourite part about working at ProQuest so far?
There is a genuine sense of people being at the centre of everything we do.
