Key functions of the role:
- Developing solutions and code that meet and exceed client expectations
- Taking part in workshops to discuss technical designs
- Building solid relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Working to tight deadlines
Demonstrable experience with the following is required:
- 4+ years hands on .NET development with C#, ASP.NET
- WPF, WCF
- Advanced SQL Server and Web Standards
- Visual Basic
- XHTML, XML
- IIS and MVC
- Source control, Unit Testing
- Ideally LINQ, HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX
- Good communication skills

We currently have a need for a Java Technical Lead to work in the heart of Sydney. The position will see you working closely with the business and IT teams working on the latest Java frameworks.
We only take on candidates with a real passion for their work and a demonstrable flair for Java Development efficiently managing commitments and communicating with clarity to our customers.
The position available is Contract.
Key functions of the role:
- Taking part in workshops to discuss technical designs
- Translating functional requirements into a detailed architecture and design
- Building solid relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Organising the estimation of development work and driving projects from end to end
- Perform regular code reviews to ensure the high quality of code delivered
- Coaching and mentoring junior team members
Demonstrable experience with the following is required:
- 5-10+ yrs Java J2EE, Front and Back end Java. Must be familiar with a number of frameworks
- 1+ years as a Java technical lead
- Spring, Hibernate, Struts, JUnit
- Build tools like Ant or Maven
- SQL Server databases and SQL scripting
- IDE’s, preferably Eclipse
- Integration tools like MQ Series
- JBoss or equivalent enterprise application servers
- Financial Services industry experience
